Your Guide for Finding Girl Scout Cookies Around UT
The end of Girl Scout Cookie season (Feburary 25) is around the corner, so the time for quickly purchasing boxes and boxes of Samoas and Thin Mints from every booth on campus has officially begun. If you haven’t already bought your annual stock of delicious cookies, or if you are looking for more to add to your declining stash, don’t fret. Here’s a helpful guide that lists everywhere that cookies will be sold throughout campus for the next week:
The University Co-op
On both February 8th and February 9th, the Girl Scouts of Central Texas will be selling cookies at the Co-Op from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. If you’re able to make it to the Co-op from these hours, you’ll be able to purchase boxes of everything from Tagalongs to Dos-i-Dos for only $4, while also supporting the great cause of Girl Scouts. So, if you’re planning on purchasing some new Longhorn spirt-wear and also want to get your hands on some Girl Scout cookies, check out the Co-op from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. this Thursday and Friday.
The Perry-Castaneda Library
The Girl Scouts of Central Texas will also be tabling at the PCL from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 11th. If you’ve been anywhere near the south end of campus in the past month, you’ve almost certainly noticed a handful of young girls handing out cookies to students near the PCL. But if you keep forgetting your wallet while passing by these booths or usually focus too much on getting to your next class to buy some cookies, you’ll have another chance this Sunday.
On the Internet
Can’t make any of these locations, but still want to get some cookies? Don’t worry. There are many different places where you can find out where they’ll be around campus. You can find all of the locations online here, or can download the app entitled Girl Scout Cookie Finder, which will list locations until February 25th. You can customize by date and time as well as how far they are from campus, so you’ll almost certainly be able to find the perfect place for you.
