UT Announces Guzman-Wolf As New Student Body President and VP

Alejandrina Guzman and Micky Wolf will be leading the university as student body President and Vice President for the 2017-2018 school year. This win marks Guzman as first Latina UT student body president and first physically differently abled student body president in the Big 12, says the Daily Texan.


Guzman and Wolf received 54.33 percent of the vote with 4,884 votes. The campaign’s platform ran with the slogan “RALLY” or “Representing All Longhorns Like You.”

Some of the their plans include to work with campus centers to promote representation for all students and revive the non-conference Texas A&M-UT football game for 2025.
