The highly anticipated “59th Annual Grammys Awards Show” is airing this Sunday, and the list of nominees and performances is out of this world. Here is a cheat sheet of nominees to keep an eye on and performances to be excited about.


Battle of the Queens




Beyoncé and Adele are both nominated under the same four categories (Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Pop Solo Performance). Keep tally of who wins what, because both of these goddesses have the potential of taking them all.

David Bowie’s Legacy




A year after his passing in early 2016, David Bowie is nominated for three Grammys for his final album “Blackstar.” He is nominated for Best Rock Performance, Best Rock Song, and Best Alternative Music Album.


Lady Gaga & Metallica




After her amazing performance at the Super Bowl halftime show, Rolling Stone has confirmed this week that Lady Gaga will perform a duet with Metallica.


Confirmed Performances




According to Entertainment Weekly, the previously announced performers include Katy Perry, John Legend, Metallica, Carrie Underwood, Bruno Mars, Keith Urban, Adele and Beyonce.
