5 Easy Classes To Save Your GPA
It’s about that time again: class registration. Nobody wants to be stuck with five research papers due the week of a home football game, so here we are to offer you some blow-off courses and professors to consider signing up for.
Looking for easy classes to meet hour requirements or trying to find a history class that you won’t have to sleep through all semester? We’ve got you. A Facebook group called UT Professor/Class Reviews is specifically crafted as a safe place to post insights about UT’s academic side. There are plenty of helpful tips for registration.
As with anything academics-related, certain topics and learning styles may be harder or easier for each student. Here are some of the courses most commonly found while searching “easy A.”
Play in Early Childhood Development (ALD 321)
This class focuses on the power of child’s play in their psychological development. This class requires upper-division standing and at least 3 hours of psychology.
Introduction to Theater (TD 301)
Every time this class was brought up, everyone advised taking it with Figueroa. It also counts as a visual and performing arts class and carries a cultural diversity flag! There are no pre-requisites.
Strategic Learning for the 21st Century (EDP 310)
This course discusses how children learn and how that affects their school work. This class has no pre-requisites!
Human Sexuality (EDP 363)
This class seems like a lecture course over the physical and emotional parts of sex and sexual relationships. The class requires upper-division standing and an introductory behavioral science class, like PSY 301.
Basic Physical Education Classes
Many have been recommended, especially Weight Training (PED 106C). However, all of the beginner PE courses have been mentioned. They’re all mostly participation grades! If you want to get in shape and have a grade to keep you accountable for working out…keep these in mind.
